El Gobierno de Ayuso ha decidido aumentar un 12,7% el precio de las comidas en los comedores escolares de la región para el próximo curso. El precio pasará de los 4,88 euros actuales a 5,50 euros, según fuentes sindicales.
El nuevo precio, 5,50 euros, lo cobran actualmente los comedores escolares por un solo día a los alumnos que no necesitan este servicio durante todo el mes.
Las cifras de la subida, de las que informa el diario Público, llegan tras las elecciones que dieron la mayoría absoluta a la presidenta regional, Isabel Díaz Ayuso. La Consejería de Educación, que había pedido a los sindicatos que no hicieran pública la cifra antes de los comicios, justificó el incremento explicando que las empresas proveedoras de las comidas habían solicitado una subida de precios para compensar la inflación registrada en los precios de los alimentos en los últimos meses.
El precio de los comedores escolares lo fija el gobierno regional para todas las empresas que gestionan este servicio en los centros pagados con fondos públicos en la región. El incremento supondrá un aumento del gasto para las familias de unos 110 euros más al año por cada niño a su cargo, sumando el ascenso diario de 0,62 céntimos a lo largo de todo el curso
