Los candidatos de Sumar La Rioja al Congreso y Senado, Diego Mendiola y Eunate García, han presentado este jueves las medidas del partido en materia empleo y reforma empresarial. Entre sus propuestas, se encuentran la «reducción de la jornada laboral» o una «vuelta a la atención personal plena» por parte de las administraciones públicas.
La primera medida propuesta por Diego Mendiola ha sido «rebajar la jornada laboral de cuarenta horas semanales a treinta y siete horas y media semanales». El candidato al Congreso ha defendido que «hay que hacer un buen reparto del trabajo para que pueda trabajar todo el mundo en unas condiciones dignas y decentes». «Trabajar menos para trabajar todos», ha señalado.
Otra de las medidas planteadas por Sumar, que, para Mendiola «cuentan con el aval de lo que se ha ido haciendo estos cuatro años desde el Ministerio de Trabajo», es «seguir subiendo el Salario Mínimo Interprofesional para que converja con la media europea».
El candidato al Congreso ha destacado que «a pesar de que ha habido un importante avance desde los 700 euros hasta los actuales 1.080, todavía estamos en 25 puntos porcentuales por debajo de la media europea del salario mínimo».
Por otro lado aparte de las subidas que puedan realizarse Sumar propone anclar el salario mínimo al IPC
También ha señalado que otro de los objetivos de Sumar es «reducir el paro» y que a corto plazo buscan «alcanzar la media europea y llegar a reducirlo al 7 por ciento», pero que su meta más ambiciosa sería «conseguir el pleno empleo».
Por su parte, Eunate García ha apuntado que «tras décadas de recortes en las administraciones públicas y el recorte en atención directa a las personas desde el COVID, hoy en día tenemos unas plantillas muy empobrecidas y una administración pública poco fiable para los ciudadanos y las ciudadanas».
